HDR: Peak District Virturama
Photographers Comments
We had a ride to the Peak District, Derbyshire, yesterday, albeit only the very tip of the area... LOL but WOW!!!! What a place to visit!
Lighting wasnt too great because of positioning of the sun, but I still had to have a go!
If this is the sort of thing we can expect on the Global Meet next year, then I definitely cannot wait!!!! LOL

Heyas Else, really pleased you liked this one! It was the footpath to the trees that caught my eye too on this on and that was before raising the camera to my eye - I opted for the virturama on this one because the scenerey really justified it (IMHO) can't wait to visit this area again soon

I like the Sky but the midground looks a bit flat to me could do with a boost of Saturation and maybe brightening a tad???...
PS: Where were you??? looks like the path from the carpark up to Millstone edge???

With the items you have to play with the composition here is spot on. The path leading from the corner to the middle of the frame is the perfect position. A good example of how a simple scene can make a very good photograph. There is a bit of burnt out cloud (just right of centre, top edge) which I'd be tempted to 'patch' with a sample of the adjacent dark cloud.
Cheers, Dave B.

Really pleased you like this one, Dave, and I see your point about the cloud being burnt out - I will rectify this in the following edit

Nice one Spookie old mate, think people need to remember this is 2/3 images stitched to be almost square (PC would say purists say it should be to be a verturama) and then HDR'd nice job given all the work it takes.
